3 Year’s old Honor 8 Youth Edition receiving Smart Charge and July 2020 patch update

Huawei has recently pushed out Smart Charging Mode and July 2020 security patch update for the Huawei P9 smartphone users. Now, Honor also rolling out the same update for the Honor 8 Youth Edition (Honor 8 Lite) users.

The latest software update comes with version number 8.0.0.355 which is based on EMUI 8. Check the changelog below.

Adds Smart Charge mode to slow battery aging, which uses artificial intelligence to learn your charging habits and prevent ongoing charging when the battery is fully charged. (This function is activated by default.)

EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > More > Show system processes > System update > Storage.
