Kirin 9000: Ahead of Mate 40 Series, Here’s a promo poster of the upcoming Kirin chipset

Huawei Mate 40 series is expected to be released this month on October 22. Ahead of the next flagship launch, Huawei has released a teaser of Kirin 9000 which will be integrated into the Mate 40 Series flagship. For the mid-autumn festival, Huawei’s Kirin sent its wishes to the customers through a promo poster, which shows the evolution in the flagship Kirin chipsets.
In the poster, Huawei printed Kirin 950, Kirin 960, Kirin 970, Kirin 980, and Kirin 990 5G. On the top, the company has another Kirin processor that starts with number “9” and likely to be the upcoming Kirin 9000 5G chipset.
To recall, the CEO of Huawei CBG, Richard Yu said that the Kirin 9000 will be the most powerful Kirin chipset ever, featuring new 5G technologies, AI processing, powerful Neural Processing Unit (NPU), and GPU performances.
The Mate 40 series is said to be powered by a 66W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Recently, the 12000mAh Huawei power bank that supports 66W fast charging has passed the certification. At the same time, the 12000mAh battery Honor power bank is also certified, which also supports 66W fast charging.
Also, the Huawei Mate 40 series will have 4 models, namely Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design.
