During the Huawei Full Connect Conference held in September, Huawei’s rotating chairman Xu Zhijun said that Huawei’s mobile phone business is indeed facing great challenges.

Facing a lot of issues from the past time, Huawei still has guts and it will not give up its mobile phone business, nor will it sell it, and is working hard to get the mobile phone business back on track in due course. “It may take a few years to work hard to allow users to buy Huawei 5G phones.”

Now, according to the Weibo tipster, Huawei will first exclusively supply the 4G version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chip.

Prior to this, there was news that Huawei Mate 50 was testing the Snapdragon 898 chip. It is understood that the Snapdragon 898 will be based on Samsung’s 4nm process and adopts a three-cluster CPU design. The CPU specifications are: 1*3.0GHz Cortex X2 super large core + 3*2.5GHz Cortex A78 large core + 4*1.79GHz Cortex A55 small core .

Huawei has no plans to launch the Huawei Mate 50 this year. The news pointed out that Mate 50 will be unveiled in the first quarter of next year at the earliest, most likely in March.

In addition, a blogger previously revealed that the Kirin chip inventory has bottomed out. However, there will be a new device equipped with Kirin 9000 4G. Judging from the current case, most of Huawei’s models in the first half of next year are Qualcomm platforms.

According to Huawei’s latest official data, since the start of the upgrade on June 2, the number of HarmonyOS 2 upgrade users has exceeded 120 million, with an average of over 1 million users upgrading Hongmeng every day, making it the world’s fastest-growing mobile operating system.
