Huawei is rapidly working on improvements to its devices. The Chinese tech giant is getting ready to send the new Beidou satellite message update for all its eligible devices.
The Beidou satellite Huawei messaging feature is currently available for the Huawei Mate Xs 2, Mate 50 Series, Mate X3 and P60 Series. Once the rollout start, you have to update the Huawei Connect app to the latest version 2.1.25.530.
Note: The models that currently support sending Beidou satellite messages run HarmonyOS 3.0.0 and above. So your device must be a part of HarmonyOS 3.
To recall, Huawei unveiled its new P60 series flagship smartphone range featuring communications technology linked to China’s BeiDou Satellite, meaning users can send and receive messages without a terrestrial signal.
