According to the new app listing in Huawei’s AppGallery, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) published CovPass, its new app for digital vaccination records. The app is available for iOS and Android and can also be downloaded free of charge from the Huawei AppGallery. Vaccinated persons can now scan a corresponding QR code, whereby the vaccination status is stored locally on the device.
The digital vaccination pass will be available in Germany. This can be used with the well-known Corona warning app or with the new CovPass app developed only for this purpose.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) as the central federal institution in the field of public health and as a national public health institute publishes the CovPass app for the German federal government. Corona vaccinations can be saved directly on the smartphone with the app.
Meanwhile, users who use them can prove their vaccination protection quickly, securely and digitally. With the app, the vaccination protection of other people (e.g. family members) can be verified on the smartphone. The users of the app decide when and to whom to show their information and data.
