Having profile picture issue? WhatsApp is getting ready for this big change
WhatsApp was founded by Brian Acton and Jan Koum in 2009. Since the launch, this application journey becomes so popular with the Facebook deal. After that, WhatsApp comes up with many changes in UI as well as in the programming too. Using it in daily life can now complete our needs with payments and more.
Now, according to the information, Facebook-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new privacy feature for users. The feature will allow users to hide their profile picture and last seen from select users in the contact list. This information was first spotted WaBetaInfo on iOS version. If you are an Android phone user than be patient this feature is now testing on Android as well.
“WhatsApp is planning to add a new “My contact except…” option for Last Seen, Profile Picture, About, so you can finally exclude a contact to view specific data without setting it to Nobody”, says a report by WahBetaInfo.
This simply means that if you are not comfortable with people in your contact list seeing your profile picture you should be able to hide it from them. For now, users can opt from three privacy settings for Last Seen, About and Profile Photo. These three options are Everyone, Nobody, and My Contacts.
With the addition of ‘My contacts except’, users will be able to hide their privacy settings from select users in their contact list.
