Honor 9X series and V30 series smartphone users are now started receiving the January 2021 security patch update based on EMUI 10.1 and Magic UI 4.0.  This security update includes the CVE announced in the January 2020 Android security bulletin. It includes 4 Critical, 25 High levels, and 1 Medium level.

Honor 9X and V30 series January 2021 security update comes with software version 10.1.0.115/10.1.0.117 and 4.0.0.172 respectively. It is recommended that you update as soon as possible.

How to download Honor 9X & 9X Pro?

There are two ways to update your device/smartphone, Via Settings option, or Via Support app.

Via Settings: Just tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Via Support app: Support> Services -> Update > Check for updates.
