Honor 9X Series getting May 2021 security patch update

The May 2021 EMUI/Magic UI security patch includes the CVE announced in the May 2021 Android security bulletin. It includes 3 Criticals, 10 High levels and 4 Medium levels of CVE’s.

On the list, the Honor 9X series becomes the first device to receive the May 2021 security patch update with the latest software version 10.1.0.132. Check the complete changelog below.

How to download Honor 9X & 9X Pro update?

There are two ways to update your device/smartphone, Via Settings option, or Via Support app.

Via Settings: Just tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Via Support app: Support> Services -> Update > Check for updates.
