Honor 9X Series grabbing December 2020 security update

Honor 9X series smartphones are selected on the quarterly security patch updates list. The company has officially started rolling out the December 2020 security patch update based on EMUI 10.1 for the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro smartphone users in China.

Honor 9X Series December 2020 security update comes with software version 10.1.0.112 and the update size is 186MB. This update incorporates the Android security patch to enhance the security of the mobile phone system. It is recommended that you update as soon as possible.

There are two ways to update your device/smartphone, Via Settings option, or Via Support app.

Via Settings: Just tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Via Support app: Support> Services -> Update > Check for updates.
