Honor 9X Series on EMUI 10.1 getting March 2021 security update

Honor 9X series smartphone users are now able to install the March 2021 security patch update. This rollout is officially confirmed and it is distributing with software version 10.1.0.129. Check the complete changelog below.

This security update includes the CVE announced in the March 2021 Android security bulletin. It includes 2 Critical, 13 High levels, and 131 Medium levels.

How to download Honor 9X & 9X Pro update?

There are two ways to update your device/smartphone, Via Settings option, or Via Support app.

Via Settings: Just tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Via Support app: Support> Services -> Update > Check for updates.
