Honor V9 and Play getting March 2021 security patch update

Honor V9 smartphone users are now getting March 2021 security patch update after 10 months, the list also adds Honor Play phone. The Honor V9 and Honor Play March 2021 patch is rolling out with software versions 9.1.0.230 and 9.1.0.350 respectively.

Honor V9 smartphone runs on Android v7.0 (Nougat – upgradable) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa-core (2.4 GHz, Quad-core, Cortex A73 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Cortex A53) processor. It runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 960 Chipset. It has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

Honor V9 smartphone has a IPS LCD display. It measures 157 mm x 77.5 mm x 6.9 mm and weighs 184 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 515 ppi pixel density. On camera front, the buyers get a 8 MP Front Camera and on the rear, there’s an 12 MP + 12 MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 4000 mAh battery. Connectivity features in the smartphone include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and more.
