Huawei adds new stereoscopic patent to reduce system cost

Huawei has added one more patent to its portfolio. As per the State Intellectual Property Office, Huawei’s new “Stereoscopic Projection System, Projection System and Vehicle” patent is listed with the application number CN115629515A.

The patent details show that the application provides a stereoscopic projection system, which is applied in the display field. A stereoscopic projection system includes a backlight assembly, a spatial light modulator, and a diffuser screen.

Among them, the backlight assembly is used to output two beams to the spatial light modulator at different angles.

The spatial light modulator is used to modulate the two beams according to different image information to obtain two imaging lights. With this the overall cost will reduce.
