Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus getting EMUI 10.0.0.166 update with Knuckle gestures, Smart Charging Mode and 05-20 patch

Huawei has started rolling out EMUI 10.0.0.166 update for the Enjoy 10 Plus smartphone users in China. Through this update, you can use the Knuckles gestures quickly, Split screen, Screen recording, Screen Sharing (Share your smartphone screen more smoothly), and May 2020 security patch. The update is size 3.08GB.

Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus Version 10.0.0.166 Changelog:

[Screen Sharing]

Enables you to share your current screen for easier communication during video calls. You can also write and draw on the screen as if talking to face to face with the other party.

[Smart Charging]

Reserves battery health by adapting to your charging routine. Charging may be paused to delay charging your device to 100% (Full) until you need it. Huawei Smart Charge Mode Protects the battery from aging during overnight charging.

Activate Smart Charge: Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Smart Charge.

[Knuckle Gestures]

Enable Knuckle Gestures:

Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures to enable Take a screenshot, Record screen, and Split screen.

Take a screenshot:

Knock twice on the screen with a knuckle to take a screenshot.

Capture part of the screen:

Knock and draw an enclosed area with a knuckle to capture part of the screen.

Record screen:

Knock twice on the screen with two knuckles to start or end a screen recording.

Split screen:

Firmly draw a line across the screen with a knuckle to enter the split-screen mode.

[Security]
Integrated Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.
