Huawei FreeBuds 6i earbuds
Huawei has now officially launched the FreeBuds 6i, a new pair of earbuds. Apart from the FreeBuds 6i, the company launched the MatePad 11.5″S and the MateBook X Pro 2024, as well as new variants of the Watch GT 4 and FreeClip open earbuds.
While the FreeBuds 6i resembles the FreeBuds 5i (curr. $105 on Amazon), Huawei has made various improvements between generations.
The FreeBuds 6i features larger drivers that measure 11 mm across, as opposed to 10 mm in the FreeBuds 5i. Furthermore, the FreeBuds 6i integrates triple adaptive equalisation like the FreeBuds Pro 3, as well as Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. On top of that, Huawei promises up to 35 hours of battery life, but only factoring in the earbuds’ included charging case. Presumably, this only applies with its ‘Intelligent Dynamic ANC 3.0’ active noise cancellation technology disabled too. Unfortunately, Huawei has not yet confirmed FreeBuds 6i pricing and availability.
