Yu Chengdong, Executive Director, Smart Device BG CEO, and Smart Car Solutions BU CEO announced that there are 240 million Huawei devices that are now equipped with the HarmonyOS operating system. This is a huge achievement for the company.
To recall at the starting of October this year, Wang recorded a president of Huawei Consumer BG AI and intelligence business unit revealed the whole scene, based on HarmonyOS Huawei’s equipment has been 157 million units, third party devices based OpenHarmony reach 60 million units. Wang Chenglu predicts that the third-party HarmonyOS equipment will reach 100 million units by the end of this year. Huawei is confident that HarmonyOS equipment will exceed 300 million units by the end of this year.
On December 17, the official Huawei team issued an announcement that HarmonyOS 2 had completed the official version of all the planned products ahead of schedule. Currently, hundreds of Huawei and Honor devices have been upgraded to the official version of HarmonyOS 2.
HarmonyOS has also been installed in over 100 million third-party hardware devices, which is another massive step to mention.
