Huawei launched its patent listing website, currently showing 729 patents

Huawei has officially launched its own patent listing website with a subdomain named patents.huawei.com, showing Huawei’s current 729 patents applied for in various fields, including 5G, Wi-Fi, operating systems, cameras, smart cars, technology, EVS, VVC, HEVC, optical technology, switching routing, etc., but they are only a small part of the 100,000 patents held by Huawei.
Huawei released the “Huawei Innovation and Intellectual Property White Paper 2020” yesterday. The white paper focuses on some of Huawei’s practices in the field of innovation and intellectual property before 2010 and reviews some key historical data and events. As of the end of 2020, Huawei has effectively authorized more than 100,000 patents (more than 40,000 families) worldwide, and more than 90% are invention patents.
From the perspective of Huawei’s patent site, Huawei’s 5G has obtained its own patents as early as 2002, and it will be commercially available for nearly 17 years in 2019.
