Huawei Mate 20 X 5G getting stable EMUI 11 update

Huawei has started rolling out the stable EMUI 11 update for the Mate 20 X 5G smartphone users in China. The latest EMUI 11 comes with new features including Smart AOD, Artistic theme, Multi-Window, Flowing Animations, and more.

The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G stable EMUI 11 update comes with software version 11.0.0.125 and the update package size is 2.91GB. Note that before upgrading it make sure your smartphone is connected to a proper internet connection.

Multi-window allow you to open apps in a floating window for multi-tasking. You can relocate the floating window to the desired location or minimize it to a floating bubble for easier access later.

[Smoother Animations]

The brand new, intuitive animations throughout EMUI 11 create a smoother, more unified, and visually pleasing user experience when touching items or sliding on the screen.

Long take animations will be displayed when you are switching between albums in Gallery or between yer and month views in Calendar, for smoother visual effects.

[Subtle Effects]

Whether you are toggling switches on or off, subtle effects have been enhanced throughout the OS for greater visual satisfaction.

[Rhythmic ringtones]

System vibrations have been upgraded and incoming calls and alarms now have their own custom vibration patterns. The combination of stereo sounds and coordinated vibrations bring you a more immersive experience.

[Accessibility]

Optimizes the visual accessibility design in a variety of different scenarios, providing a more user-friendly experience for the visually impaired.

Seamless Connections

[Multi-screen Collaboration]

This a special feature that enables your devices to work together to achieve their full potential. You can mirror your phone to your laptop’s screen to improve you productivity with up to three windows readily available. (This feature requires a Huawei Laptop installed with version 11.0 or later of PC Manager.)

[Notepad]

It allows you to scan documents. You can quickly identify and extract text from images, edit the text, export it in multiple files formats and share it.

[Gallery]

On the Discover tab in Gallery, you can create video stories by applying preset templates with special effects and background music. The video editing features are optimized, providing you with more instructions on how to use the timeline and edit options.

[Lasting Smoothness]

A new standard fr system animations has been introduced, improving app launch speed and the smoothness of general operations.

Privacy And Security

[Undistributed Screen Projection]

When you project your phone onto an eternal display, messages and incoming calls are displayed only on your phone screen, both protecting your privacy and ensuring the continuity of screen projection.

• This update will not erase your personal data, but we recommend that you back up any important data before updating.
• Some third party apps that are not compatible with EMU I11 may function incorrectly after the update. It is recommended that you update these apps to their latest versions in-app store.
• Your home screen layout may be rearranged slightly.
• This system version can be rolled back to the official version of EMUI 10.1 in HiSuite.
