Huawei Mate 40 Pro smartphone is rumored to be launched in October 2020 with the company’s upcoming Kirin 1020 chipset. Kirin 1020 will increase the system performance by up to 50% as compared to Kirin 990. Huawei is rumored to use ARM’s Cortex-A77 cores with the Kirin 1020 instead of Cortex-A76 cores it retained with the Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro concept renders created by Tech Shockin (Youtube) based on a patent that appeared in March this year. It shows a ring-shaped touch screen layout on the backside of the smartphone. As per the images below, this ring can perform various operations like touch, click and swipe gestures, camera focus, page-turning Operate and display time, alarm, call, and message, etc.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro should be the most scientific and simplest super flagship phone to achieve a great comprehensive screen. According to the information, the screen ratio of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is as high as 98%, and the top border is smaller according to the optimization of the screen details. The screen size is 6.8 inches and supports 2K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

The shape of the lens shape looks attractive. It may feature 64 MP camera, the sensor area is the same as Huawei P40 Pro +, and the pixel fusion technology is 28 in one. It is also equipped with a super wide-angle + telephoto lens + periscope lens + 3D Tof lens.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro may be equipped with a 5500 mAh battery. With the support of Huawei ’s low power consumption performance, battery life will be improved by at least 30%.
