Huawei has now released a new firmware update to the Mate 40 Pro device in Hungary. The latest software update doesn’t include any major update but yes the February 2023 security patch is integrated.

The February 2023 security patch update for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is rolling out with the software update 12.0.0.301 and the update size is 275MB.  We would like to thank our tipster Bonta Bela for sending regular updates.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro smartphone was launched with a 6.76-inch (16.76cm) screen and it includes bezel-less display to feature a punch hole front facing camera.

As per the preliminary specification, the smartphone gets a triple-camera set-up which will include a 50MP primary camera followed by 12MP and 20MP lenses. For selfies, it has a 13 MP f/2.4, Wide Angle camera.

Under the hood, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is powered by a 2.86GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and Mali-G76 MP16 GPU. The phone boost 4,400 mAh battery capacity.
