Huawei has officially landed its next operating system, HarmonyOS 3.0. Now, the Mate 50 series launch is around the corner, as per the latest information from the Weibo tipster, Wangzai Baishitong, Huawei Mate 50 series new products will be launched on September 12, 2022.
The Mate 50 series lineup includes four models – Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, Mate 50 RS Porsche Design, and Mate 50 X. These new products are equipped with rear ring cameras. The case of the Mate 50 series now appears online and from the below image we can see that there is a ring shape rear camera layout.
The Pro version is equipped with four cameras and is equipped with “XMAGE” technology, which is Huawei’s first XMAGE technologies flagship.
In addition, the Mate 50 Pro also adopts the Liu Haiping solution, which supports 3D face recognition. It is worth noting that the Mate 50 Standard Edition, Mate 50E, and other models are straight-screen solutions that support screen fingerprint recognition.
In terms of parameters, the Huawei Mate 50 series is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 flagship processor, and the Mate 50E is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G, both of which support 4G networks.
Unfortunately, Huawei hasn’t revealed anything about the Mate 50 series during the HarmonyOS 3 event but as per the recent leaks, Huawei will bring the new Face-id to the Huawei Mate 50 Pro.
