According to the latest report from China Securities Taurus, Huawei Supply Chain Company has successfully provided the high-end flagship mobile phone, Huawei Mate 60. This mean the launch of the Mate 60 is near.
In 2023, Huawei introduced its flagship mobile phone series, the P60 series. Following the press conference, Hua Hegang mentioned in an interview that the launch of the Huawei P60 series signifies a return to Huawei’s regular product release schedule.
This indicates that Huawei will once again adopt the strategy of unveiling two flagship mobile phone series (P series and Mate series) annually, with the expectation that the Huawei Mate 60 will be unveiled in the latter half of this year.
In early June, industry insiders revealed that Huawei had recently revised its mobile phone shipment target for 2023 to 40 million units, surpassing the initial target set at 30 million units at the beginning of the year.
The Huawei Mate 60 is said to be equipped with the Qualcomm SM8425 chip (the 4G version of Snapdragon 8+). Although it is likely to be released in the second half of this year, there are still uncertainties regarding whether the mass-produced model will incorporate this particular chip.
