Huawei Mate 9 Series receiving EMUI 9.1.0.228 update

Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro smartphone users receiving the latest update based on EMUI 9.1. It brings Screen Sharing, Smart Charging Mode, and May 2020 security update. This new update comes with a software version 9.1.0.228 and the size is 3.20GB. Before upgrading, make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection.

Enables you to share your current screen for easier communication during video calls. You can also write and draw on the screen as if talking to face to face with the other party.

Smart Charging:

Reserves battery health by adapting to your charging routine. Charging may be paused to delay charging your device to 100% (Full) until you need it. Huawei Smart Charge Mode Protects the battery from aging during overnight charging.

Activate Smart Charge: Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Smart Charge.

Security:
Integrated Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.
