Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs receiving February 2021 security patch update

Huawei has started rolling out the February 2021 security patch update for the Huawei Mate Xs and Mate X foldable phone users. The February 2021 patch update for Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs rolling out with version number 11.0.0.137 and 11.0.0.172 respectively.

The February 2021 security patch includes 2 Critical, 26 High levels, and 77 Medium levels of CVE’s. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system tracks publicly known security vulnerabilities and exposures in publicly released software packages.

Huawei Mate Xs sports a 6.7-inch OLED display having a screen resolution of 1,148 x 2,480 pixels and a sharp pixel density of 408 PPI. The optics of the smartphone comes with a 48MP, 16MP and 8MP rear camera that can click awesome pictures.

Huawei Mate Xs is based on the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset octa-core (2.86 GHz, Dual-core, Cortex A76 + 2.36 GHz, Dual-core, Cortex A76 + 1.95 GHz, Quad-core, Cortex A55) processor. It is coupled with a Mali-G76 MP16 GPU and an 8GB RAM, which handles gaming, multitasking and graphical performance.  Huawei Mate Xs is equipped with a Li-ion 5,000mAh capacity battery that gets Super Charging technology to fill it in no time.

Huawei Mate X smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset. It has 8 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage.

Huawei Mate X smartphone has a OLED display. It measures 161.3 mm x 78.3 mm x 5.4 mm and weighs 295 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1148 x 2480 pixels and 414 ppi pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and screen-to-body ratio of 84.48 %. On camera front, the buyers get a 40 MP f/1.8, Wide Angle Primary Camera 16 MP f/2.2, Wide Angle, Ultra-Wide Angle Camera 8 MP f/2.4 Telephoto Camera and on the rear, there’s an 40MP + 16MP + 8MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.
