Huawei has silently launched the Huawei nova Y9a smartphone in South Africa. The Nova Y9a sports a 6.63-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, providing a 92% screen-to-body ratio. The front lens is 16MP with an f/2.2 aperture.

The rear camera of the Huawei nova Y9a has a circular shape that contains a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle with 120-degree FOV, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth-of-field lens. The phone offers photography features such as Super Night Mode, EIS, and 1080p video capture.

The phone is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in UFS 2.1 storage, which supports microSD card expansion. The device runs EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10.

Huawei nova Y9a uses a 4300mAh battery that supports 40W SuperCharge fast charging. The phone supports dual 4G VoLTE , Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C interface and 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as side fingerprint recognition.

Huawei nova Y9a has landed in South Africa and is priced at 6,499 South African rand (about 2,600 yuan). The phone will also make its way to the Middle East and Central Asia markets and is available in Space Silver, Cherry Blossom Pink, and Midnight Black.
