Huawei obtained Chinese digital payment firm Zhipay for payment system
As far as history concerned, Huawei Pay was launched in 2016 which helps users to pay through devices. In the past 2020, the term “third-party payment license” has appeared in front of us many times: Internet companies such as Pinduoduo, ByteDance, Ctrip, and Kuaishou have all obtained payment licenses last year.
The financial licenses obtained by Internet companies mainly include banking, consumer finance, online small loans, third-party payments, securities, insurance, funds, financing guarantees, commercial factoring, financial leasing, etc.
According to the Enterprise Check App, recently, Shenzhen Xunlian Zhifu Network Co., Ltd. has undergone industrial and commercial changes. Shareholder Shanghai Wo Ruiou Information Technology Co., Ltd. withdrew, and a new shareholder, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., holds 100% of the shares. In other words, Huawei has now successfully obtained a payment license and has successfully become another mobile phone manufacturer that has acquired a payment license after Xiaomi.
Xunlian Zhipay is a third-party payment Chinese digital payment firm established in 2013 with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. Its legal representative is Wang Guanrong, former Deputy Director of the Payment and Settlement Department of the People’s Bank of China.
