Huawei open-ear buds FreeClip officially announced

Huawei has officially introduced the FreeClip – a truly wireless earbud with a unique open-ear design for all-day comfortable wearing. As per the design, the FreeClip features three parts – the Comfort Bean, the Acoustic Ball, and the C-bridge Design.

Huawei says the FreeClip is the industry’s first open-ear bud that doesn’t distinguish between left and right ears. The FreeClip can go up to 32 hours and charge fully back in 40 minutes – 10 minutes nets you up to 3 hours of listening.

  • Battery capacit: Earbuds – 55 mAh (minimum value each), Charging case – 510 mAh (minimum value)
  • Battery life: Music playback: 8 hours after a full charge and 36 hours when used with the charging case
  • Control: Tap on the Acoustic Ball, the C-bridge, or the Comfort Bean, for seamless control. Double-tap: Play/Pause audio, or answer/end a call. Triple-tap: Play the next track.
  • Sensor: VPU sensor/IMU sensor/Hall sensor/CAP sensor

As per the pricing, the FreeClip is coming to the UK and Europe in late December, priced at £180 and €200, respectively. UK buyers will get a free Huawei Band 8 if they order between today and January 29.
