The Huawei P70 series is expected to be released in the first half of 2024. Reportedly, the device is expected to use a 1.5K deep micro-curved screen with a screen size of about 6.7 inches. It has a rear matrix triangle Deco and is equipped with an earpiece and stereo dual speakers.
The Howey OV50H image sensor was released in January 2023. It uses a 1/1.3-inch optical format and supports multiple HDR modes and high frame rates.
According to previous official introduction, the OV50H sensor’s four-in-one pixel binning can achieve 12.5 million pixel video and preview, with 2.4 micron equivalent sensitivity, enabling excellent low-light performance; supports frame rates up to 120 frames/second, with 4x low-light performance Sensitivity; 8K video, using on-chip pixel restoration algorithm; 4K video + electronic image stabilization, including 120 frames/second (linear) and 60 frames/second (HDR).
Earlier, the Weibo tipster digitalchatstation shared a rendering of the rear side of Huawei P70. As you can see the screenshot below, this new phone is equipped with three rear cameras. The lens module adopts a rounded rectangular design and is larger in size. The three lenses are arranged in a triangle shape, and the logo of Huawei’s imaging brand XMAGE is clearly visible. In addition, the transition between the body and the middle frame of the phone adopts a curved design, which may be due to hand feel considerations.
