At the Huawei Mate 40 series global online conference, Huawei Petal Maps was officially released. Recently, Ma Xiaoqiang, VP of Huawei’s Consumer Business Asia-Pacific region, appeared in the Petal application when he posted photos of Huawei’s P50 Pocket, but it should be noted that he is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After Ma Xiaoqiang posted the photos, the tipster said that Huawei Petal Maps is really coming. As far as the blogger’s news is concerned, Huawei’s petal map may be launched in China soon.
In December last year, Huawei held a new product launch conference. In addition to bringing new products such as Huawei P50 Pocket and the new MateBook X Pro, it also released the first HarmonyOS powered Auto AITO M5.
At the press conference, Huawei officially announced that Petal Maps will be installed on the Wenjie M5 to provide in-vehicle map services in China. It is understood that Petal Maps is equipped with a number of map capabilities independently developed by Huawei, including super GNSS, intelligent inertial navigation and positioning technology, and circulation capabilities.
This is the first time that Petal Maps has entered China since the Huawei Mate 40 series launch event in October 2022 announced that it will launch map applications overseas.
