Richard Yu, at Huawei Virtual launch conference on February 24, 2020, officially announced that the company has shipped 10 million 5G smartphones in Jan 2020.
In the same live presentation, the company has introduced, the Huawei Mate Xs, Wi-Fi6+, Matepad Pro 5G, MateBook X Pro & Huawei AppGallery App Store.
Earlier, Huawei at the product and solution launch in London declared that the company has shipped over 600,000 5G Massive MIMO AAUs (Active Antenna Units ) and the company has been awarded 91 commercial 5G contracts.
It is predicted that 100 Million Foldable smartphone shipments to reach by 2025, according to the market research firm Strategy Analytics. The research firm said in a report that foldable will be the fastest-growing segment of the premium smartphone market over the next decade.
