According to the Canalys, Huawei has shipped 142 million units with a 35.5% growth rate and 38.5% market share, compared to 104.8 million units and a 26.5% share in 2018.
Huawei is also the only top smartphone maker that seen annual growth compared to the continuous decline in Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Apple.
In the fourth quarter, Huawei kept and increased its domination over the Chinese smartphone market capturing 11% Year on Year growth rate by shipping 33.3 million smartphone units and 39% market share.
The company shipped more than 44 million units of Huawei Mate and P series flagship devices with 50% on year increase.
To recall, Huawei stated on January 9 that the Mate X model shipped 100,000 units per month and its a great new as per the company point of view. The Huawei Mate X was sold on November 15 last year, so the total sales were around 200,000.
