Huawei starts recruiting developers for the HarmonyOS NEXT Cangjie programming language Beta

Huawei has officially revealed its self-developed Cangjie programming language and also announced the start of recruitment for the HarmonyOS NEXT Cangjie language developer preview version Beta.

This upgrade is a developer preview version upgrade, which provides the Cangjie language SDK, developer guide and related DevEco Studio plug-ins for developers to use the Cangjie language to develop, debug and run HarmonyOS Next applications.

Registration period: June 21, 2024 – October 21, 2024

Application requirements: This HarmonyOS NEXT Cangjie language developer preview Beta recruitment activity is only open to the following developers:

1) Have completed real-name authentication in Huawei Developer Alliance;

2) Complete the application information for the HarmonyOS NEXT Cangjie Language Developer Preview Beta recruitment activity;

Supported devices: Only supports HUAWEI Mate60 Pro ALN-AL00 models , and plans to support more device forms in 2025.

Waiting for the review results: Starting from the start of the activity on June 21, 2024, developers who have passed the review will be notified of the review results and downloads. It is expected that all reviews will be completed by the end of October. The official will gradually open up places within one month after the Beta test starts.
