Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro receive important update
The Chinese tech giant Huawei has now released the September 2023 update for the Watch 3 series for models sold outside China. These smartwatches are now eeligible for firmware version 3.0.0.163, which appears to be approximately a 270 MB download.
As per the update changelog, the HarmonyOS 3-derived build does not bring major changes to the Watch 3 or the Watch 3 Pro. For some reason, Huawei has not included the usual references to mysterious bug fixes and optimisations either. The latest update only includes the August 2023 security patch.
The Huawei Watch 3 brings a range of new features and specifications that makes it a unique wearable device. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Watch 3 features an AMOLED display with a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels. The watch is available in various styles and materials, including stainless steel and titanium.
The Huawei Watch 3 is powered by Huawei’s own HarmonyOS operating system. It is equipped with a high-performance Kirin A1 chipset, ensuring fast and efficient operation. It includes a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and a sleep tracker to monitor and analyze various aspects of your health.
