Huawei Patent November 2022
The Chinese tech giant Huawei has published a new patent for a “display unlocking method, electronic equipment, and storage medium”.
The patent details show that this application can prevent the user from unlocking the display screen of the electronic device through the face when under duress.
The method includes: when the display screen is in a locked screen state and a bright screen state, acquiring the user’s current pupil parameters through a camera module and acquiring the reflected light intensity of the user’s current face through a light intensity sensor.
