According to the IDC research report on the Chinese smartphone market in the second quarter, 5G smartphone shipments exceeded 43 million units, Huawei HiSilicon is China’s largest 5G processor supplier, accounting for 54.8%.
In the second quarter of 2020, China’s smartphone shipments totaled 87.8 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 10.3%, and improved from 20.3% in the first quarter.
IDC analyzed the top 5 mobile phone manufacturers this quarter and stated that in the second quarter of 2020, nearly half of China’s smartphones support 5G networks, leading to other countries and regions.
Huawei continues to occupy a leading position with a market share of 45.2%, and has enhanced its high-end product position through the Huawei P40 Pro series.
