June 2021 security patch is now available for the Honor Play 4T Pro and 20S
Honor 20S and Honor Play 4T Pro smartphone users are now getting the June 2021 security patch update in China. This latest update for both the devices are rolling out with versions 10.1.0.117 and 3.1.0.121 and it includes June 2021 security patch.
As usual, this update is rolling out in batches, and users are advised to keep patience, you will get it soon. The latest update is based on Magic UI 3.1 and EMUI 10.1.
The June 2021 EMUI/Magic UI security patch includes the CVE announced in the June 2021 Android security bulletin. It includes 2 Criticals and 13 High levels of CVE’s.

How to update Honor Play 4T Pro?
First check, if you haven’t received a notification yet, check for the OTA update in Settings manually, just tap on the Setting option in your smartphone, Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates > Download and install.
You can also update using the Support app. Open the app, go to Support app> Services>Update> Check for Updates> Download & Install.

Via Support: Open app -> Services Tab -> Update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install.
Via Settings: Open System Settings -> System -> Software update -> CHECK FOR UPDATES -> Download and install.

Honor 20S smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 810 Chipset. It has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
Honor 20S smartphone has a TFT LCD display. It measures 154.2 mm x 73.9 mm x 7.8 mm and weighs 172 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 412 ppi pixel density. On camera front, users get a 32 MP f/2.0 Primary Camera and on the rear, there’s an 48MP + 8MP + 2MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. After updating over two dozen of devices to the August 2022 security patch now Huawei is ready to send the same patch update for its P Smart 2021 model.
According to the information, the Huawei P Smart 2021 August 2022 security patch update arrives with the firmware version EMUI 10.1.1.263 and the size is 302MB.
In the August 2022 security patch, Huawei fixes 2 critical and 10 High levels of CVEs. The update enhances the system security as well as optimizes the system stability performance.
In order to install the latest security patch update on your P Smart 2021 device all you need is to visit the system Settings > System & updates > Check for updates > Download and install option.
