March 2021 security patch released for Huawei Nova 5 Pro

It’s almost half April and we are still waiting for the April 2021 patch for Huawei devices and ahead of that many Huawei and Honor phones received March 2021 patch update.

Now, the company has started rolling out the March 2021 security patch update for the Nova 5 Pro smartphone users and it comes with a software version 11.0.0.139/140.

This security update includes the CVE announced in the March 2021 Android security bulletin. It includes 2 Critical, 13 High levels, and 131 Medium levels.

How to download EMUI 11?

Download from your system settings option: Tap on Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates and Download it!

Download from Support App: Go to Support app > Services ->Update > Check for updates.

As per the specifications concern, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset. It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. For display the device gets an OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403 PPI pixel density.
