Quick Tip: How to Join EMUI 10.1 beta program
Huawei has started rolling out the EMUI 10.1 Beta program to the selected devices/smartphones. The Huawei EMUI 10.1 is launched on March 26 along with the Huawei P40 series (Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro & Huawei P40 Pro Plus). The Huawei EMUI 10.1 brings Multi-Device Control Panel, Access, save, search photos on multiple Huawei devices, MeeTime calling experience, New Vibrant AOD, Convenient Multi-Window – (Drag & Drop Easily & Smooth) & More.
How to Join the EMUI 10.1 beta program?
If you own the below-listed smartphone, just open the beta app (download it from official website), now follow the below steps,
Step 1: Launch the BETA app.
Step 2: Accept terms & conditions.
Step 3: You need to log in to your Huawei ID, this is will only applicable for the first time only. (If you don’t have the Huawei ID, need to create a new account with original email or mobile phone number. Check here how to create Huawei ID quicky.
Step 4: JOIN THE BETA CAMPAIGN
- Start APP
- Login
- Select “Personal” (Check in the Bottom bar)
- “Join Project”
- “Available Project”
- Then click on Sign Up, to join the project.
BETA version HOTA:
You will receive HOTA upgrade notification automatically, then you can select to update your phone.
Problem Feedback:
During the test time, if you find any problem you can go to “Report” page, and select relevant module which your problem related with, then input all necessary information and submit;
- Go to ”Report” page, select the module which has a problem
- Input detail info about the problem you found and then submit
- PS: when you submit the problem, the APP will ask you if you agree to upload log when you are not using WIFI.
HOW TO QUIT THE BETA:
- Start APP
- login
- select “Personal”
- “Join Project”
- “Available Project”
Select the project which you already joined, select “Sign out”. All Done!

In the Europe market, the Huawei P30 Lite smartphone users are now grabbing the new software update based on EMUI 10. The latest update comes with the build number EMUI 10.0.0.562 and it brings April 2022 security patch update.

Huawei released the March 2022 security patch update for the P Smart Pro smartphone users globally. The all-new update comes with build number EMUI 10.0.0.479. At the same time, you can join the EMUI 12 Beta process with this update.
