Your device consists of two types of memory – Random Access Memory (RAM) and Read Only Memory (ROM). For performance, your Huawei phone must require RAM to give fast and quick results.
The larger the RAM, the faster and smoother the phone will run. Here in this article, we will check how you can free up phone space.
Clearing storage from the Optimizer
The fastest and easiest way to clear phone memory is to go to Optimizer and tap OPTIMIZE.
In Cleanup, under RECOMMENDED TO CLEAN, you will find, among others, a list of junk files, residual files, and unused applications that the system recommends you clean. You can also view garbage files by category (large files, videos, blurry images, and installation packages) under SPECIAL CLEANINGS to easily identify and select data you don’t need. In this way, you can avoid deleting important files.
Manage and organize files
After completing the first process, now check which app or file is taking/consuming lot of space by simply tapping on Files > Browse. You can view and organize files by category and delete the ones you don’t use.
Clearing app data and cache
Visit the system Settings > Apps > Apps from time to time to see exactly how much storage each app is using. Check if you are using those apps or not, check the Storage, then tap CLEAR DATA or CLEAR CACHE to free up the space they’re taking up.
