Huawei is set to release the new version of Emotion UI i.e EMUI 10.1 this month with the Huawei P40 series. But before that let’s check which devices are left to receive the 8th version of Huawei EMUI so-called EMUI 10.
EMUI 10 is built on top of Android 10 and brings new changes in the UX design and introduces new features including Magazine Style UI layout, Morandi Colors, Dark Mode, Golden Icons, New Animations, Improved privacy features.
The EMUI 10 also has improved software enhancements including GPU Turbo technology improving graphics processing by 60%, while Link Turbo lets smartphones access multiple networks like 4G and WiFi to provide 70% faster network speed. EROFS super file system improves Android’s random read by 20%, and additionally, the Ark Compiler also smooths third-party applications by 60%.
According to Huawei’s official schedule, these smartphones will get the latest EMUI 10 update, here’s the list.

Morandi color: Subtle gray tones for an eye-friendly and comfortable viewing experience.
Animations: Dynamic, natural animations for page transitions, app launches, and other scenarios
Performance: Stable and smooth.
GPU Turbo: Improved system operation and increased system stability when gaming.
Phone Clone: Increased connection and cloning speed.
Security: Increased data security and improved data protection.
Formally tested microkernel: Uses the microkernel design developed by Huawei, certification as the safest operating system kernel for commercial use.
Distributed technology: Increased security when connecting to other Huawei devices and when transferring files between and storing data on other Huawei devices.
Data protection: Support for app sandboxing functions for standardized app authorization management and increased data security and improved data protection.
