What is Kirin A1 and How it performs? Health App users exceeded 100 million

Huawei CEO says, the number of registered users of Huawei’s sports health app exceeded 100 million. Huawei’s self-developed Kirin A1 chip has been used in many wearable products. The Huawei Kirin A1 is the world’s first BT / BLE dual-mode 5.1 wearable chip, which was released in September 2019.

What is Kirin A1 and how it performs?

Kirin A1 is Huawei’s first wearable chip that supports both wireless audio devices and smartwatches and is certified by Bluetooth 5.1 and Bluetooth low Power 5.1 standards.

The Kirin A1 integrates a Bluetooth processing unit, an audio processing unit, a low-power application processor, and an independent power management unit in a 4.3mm × 4.4mm size.

It uses BT-UHD ultra-high-definition Bluetooth codec technology, with a maximum transmission bandwidth of up to 6.5 Mbps.

Kirin AI self-developed dual-channel synchronous transmission technology has added recently in the Huawei Freebuds 3. This can enable two headphones to obtain signals from the left and right channels directly from the mobile phone and communicate directly with the mobile phone. It helps in reducing synchronous transmission power consumption by 50% and delays by 30%.
